Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Joining Collibra’s Infrastructure Engineering team

The Infrastructure Engineering team is responsible for enabling product teams with Continuous Integration & Continuous Delivery. As an Infrastructure Engineer, you will help to deliver the tools and the platform, and enable partner teams (Engineering, Product, Security, Compliance, etc.) by providing documentation, guidance, training, support, tooling, and self-service options. In a broader sense, you will help to maintain the engineering ecosystem.

Senior Infrastructure Engineers at Collibra are responsible for:

• Delivering and Integrating new technologies into new and existing Infrastructure through automation and IaC
• Building resilience into infrastructure solutions
• Developing processes and procedure documentation for new and existing Infrastructure
• Coordinating with architecture, security and engineering teams to deliver Infrastructure platforms
• Maintaining infrastructure platforms and solutions and thriving in defining everything-as-code!

You Have:

• 5+ years of experience as an engineer delivering IaC solutions
• Extensive working experience in GCP or AWS
• Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience with infrastructure as code automation and config management (Go, Terraform, Ansible, JFrog)
• Extensive knowledge & experience setting up K8’s, S3, Service Mesh (Istio, Traefik). Must have experience using Kubernetes to design, build and deploy applications & workloads 
• Strong analytical and Agile mindset familiar with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• B.Sc./ M.Sc. graduate in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• Because this role supports the U.S. Government, it is required that this candidate be a U.S. Citizen who resides on U.S. soil

• An independent and well organized, with the ability to work in small and large teams
• Detail oriented, able to track multiple dependencies within complex systems  
• Excellent communicator (written and verbal). Comfortable working fully in English - we're a global team, and it's the language we share! 

Measures of success are:

• Within your first month, you will absorb fundamental knowledge about Collibra processes/tools used within Infrastructure Engineering
• Within your third month, you will be a contributing member of the Infrastructure Engineering team
• Within your sixth month, you will have a full understanding of all the Infrastructure solutions and have the ability to build and maintain current and new infrastructure

Compensation for this role

The standard base salary range for this position is $129,600 - $188,000 per year. This position is not eligible for additional commission-based compensation. Salary offers are based on a combination of factors, including, but not limited to, experience, skills, and location.

In addition to base salary, we offer equity ownership at every level, bonus potential, a Flex Fund monthly stipend, pension/401k plans, and more.
