To strengthen our growing Enterprise Applications team, we are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer, passionate about using technology to perform automated functional testing of Enterprise Applications, Web apps, APIs and Mobile. You will work with product and engineering managers from enterprise business units to build scalable test automation frameworks to support platform quality needs. You will report to the QA Engineering Manager (Enterprise Platforms), and be part of the larger Coinbase Enterprise Applications and Architecture (EAA) Organization.
What you’ll be doing (ie. job duties):
- Design and develop test automation scripts for Enterprise platforms, and apps such as Salesforce, NetSuite, Web, Mobile and APIs.
- Work on creating test environments for running automated tests suites and frameworks built using low code/no code toolsets.
- Extend test cases for end-to-end test functionality and create custom scripts as required in Python, Java or other programming languages.
- Collaborate with Product Managers to analyze, identify and document test cases for functional tests.
- Write test scripts and collaborate on test data for API testing, HTTP/s, JDBC, and custom Mule/Go/Python integrations.
- Document test results and publish reports for project team visibility.
- Create best practices around test frameworks, documentation of quality assurance processes.
- Provide feedback, propose solutions and suggest improvements in the applications.
- Assist with creating performance test scripts and running performance tests for highly critical applications.
- Partner with other build engineers and developers to develop best practices, author blogs and white papers, and present internally, at conferences, and directly to partners and customers
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience building automation test scripts and suites using one of the top automation tools - Eggplant/Tricentis Tosca/Copado/Smart Bear or similar tool.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language such as Python, PHP, Java or Javascript.
- Experience with writing cross functional automation tests for Enterprise platforms such Salesforce, NetSuite, Workday etc.
- Experience with Web, API, integrations and mobile testing both manual and automation.
- Skilled in both the art and science of benchmark creation and measurement and modeling of system behavior under load
- Preferred experience in performance testing and benchmarking using tools JMeter, Locusts, LoadRunner or similar.
- Experience with Linux, Docker, AWS, GIT, Artifactory in terms of both tools and systems administration
- Good knowledge and understanding of CI/CD cycles and integration test automation with CI/CD.
- Working knowledge of GIT or GITHub or BitBucket and managing configs source control.

- AWS/Azure Certifications
