Senior Full Stack Software Engineer

We are looking for Senior and Staff level Full Stack Software Engineers who are motivated and passionate about working on features, tools, and scripts that will enhance the ability to sell, deploy and maintain Cohesity products. Responsibilities:

• Design and build beautiful UI using the Angular framework 
• Work closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations
• Work closely with product management team to understand user needs; participate in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs
• Build single page web applications; develop HTML/CSS user interfaces; integrate frontend components
• Develop the UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to create great product experiences
• Build RESTful APIs that interface with the Cohesity backend systems
• Develop and Debug end to end from UI to the backend
• Design, develop and maintain innovative products for our on-prem as well as SaaS offerings
• Collaborate with product management, other cross functional leads and teams on both technical and business strategy to shape the future product roadmap for Cohesity’s infinitely scalable platform.
• Implement product features for on-prem and cloud platforms.
• Drive accountability for test driven development, delivery of high quality features and resilient enterprise class solutions
• Lead a culture of team ownership and direct individual and team accountability to continuously improve how they work and achieve results.
• Participating in Agile development processes.

Requirements:

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science or related technical fields.
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular or React Frameworks.
• Strong coding skills in any of these languages - C++, Golang, Java.
• Experience developing single page HTML5 applications using client-side frameworks like Angular JS/Angular
• A good knowledge of User Interface patterns and techniques to solve common UI problems
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design, and developing web applications that use RESTful APIs
• Experience working with designers and ability to convert mockups into working client-side code using HTML5 / CSS3
• Familiarity with TDD and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit/integration tests
• Familiarity with building dashboards, using graphing libraries
• Good analytical, debugging and troubleshooting skills. 
• Bring good testing methodologies and passion for building quality products
• Knowledge of Microservices, SaaS architecture, Cloud native services is a plus
• Knowledge of agile/scrum methodologies preferred
