We are looking for Software Engineers who are motivated, hardworking, and eager to improve Cohesity’s Products and by working on features, tools, scripts that will make it easy to sell, deploy and maintain. You are not only a Software Engineer who crafts and implements features but should have a curiosity about diagnosing problems in large bodies of sophisticated code, understand scalability and performance and work on fixes with rapid turnaround time and high quality. This position will focus on working closely with our Product and Sustenance Engineering team and with Product Managers, Customer Support, System Engineers, and Customers as well.

What you’ll do:
  • Design and build UI using the Angular framework
  • Work closely with the UX and visual design team to build a highly engaging UI that predicts and exceeds user expectations
  • Collaborate with the product management team to understand user needs; engage in process definition and technology selection to ensure appropriate testing of UIs
  • Build single-page web applications; develop HTML/CSS user interfaces; integrate frontend components
  • Develop the UI using HTML5, CSS, and JavaScript to build excellent product experiences
  • Build RESTful APIs that work with the Cohesity backend systems
  • Develop and Debug end-to-end from UI to the backend
What we’re Looking For:
  • Bachelors or Master in computer science or related fields.
  • Min 5+ years of relevant UI development experience.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript, Angular or React Frameworks
  • Experience developing single-page HTML5 applications using client-side frameworks like Angular JS/Angular
  • Good understanding of User Interface patterns and techniques to solve common UI problems
  • Deep understanding of RESTful API design, and developing web applications that use RESTful APIs
  • Experience working with designers and ability to convert mockups into working client-side code using HTML5 / CSS3
  • Familiarity with TDD and concepts like mocking and stubbing for unit/integration tests
  • Familiarity with building dashboards, using graphing libraries
Disclosure Pursuant to Applicable State Equal Pay Transparency Laws - This position has a starting pay range as listed below. Actual salary depends upon many factors, including a candidate’s skills, qualifications and experience, location, and salary expectations, and therefore a starting salary at the low end, high end, or even above the stated range may be offered. This position may also be eligible for bonus compensation, commission (if in a sales function), and/or equity grants. Additionally, full-time employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive benefits framework, including health and wellness benefits, vacation, paid holidays and refresh days, 401(k) retirement plan, life and disability insurance coverages, and other benefits the Company may offer from time to time.
US Pay Range
$164,000—$205,000 USD
