Summary:

As DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for expanding and optimizing our Cloud hosted infrastructure, pipelines and deployment processes, as well as building new systems for application and performance monitoring. We are looking for independent and fast adopting engineer with skills to improve existing processes and introduce new concepts regarding Cloud infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Work and improve existing pipelines and deployment processes
• Help with automated infrastructure setup
• Automation of daily processes
• Help to improve processes with monitoring and alert automation
• Related technical document writing
• Monitoring the infrastructure and troubleshoot issues, escalating to appropriate teams

Required:

• University degree in Computer Science or software engineering related field
• Experience with the core AWS services (EC2, ECS, VPC, S3, IAM, Lambda, Route53, CloudFront)
• Solid understanding of Linux operating systems
• Understanding of concepts around Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
• Knowledge in coding or scripting for systems automation (Python, Bash, etc.)
• Experience with containerization and clustering technologies (Docker, Kubernetes etc.)
• Experience in version control systems and CI/CD tools (GitHub, Bitbucket, GitHub Actions etc.)
• Experience with monitoring and log analysis
• Experience with network and system administration
• 5+ years of experience working with Cloud Technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP etc.)
• Proficiency in spoken and written English

Considered a plus:

• Infrastructure as a code
• Experience with Java/Scala development
• Experience with SQL and relational databases like PostgreSQL
• Experience in Agile development methodologies (SCRUM)
• Experience with JIRA software
• Experience with REST, micro-services orchestration
• Any AWS Certificate
