Software Engineer, Full Stack (Mid/Senior Level)

• Front-end development: Experience designing, developing, and deploying high-traffic client-facing applications. Proficiency with web development frameworks, as well as developing cross-platform desktop applications.
• Back-end development: Proficiency with server-side programming languages (eg Python), with solid experience building a low-latency back-end.
• Cloud computing: Familiarity with AWS cloud services, for building and deploying scalable and resilient web applications in the cloud.
• Microservices: Understanding of serverless microservices architecture and its principles for designing and building loosely coupled, scalable and maintainable systems.
• Databases: Knowledge of database management systems, for storing and managing financial data in the application.
• Security: Understanding of security best practices and technologies such as encryption authentication, and authorization.
• DevOps: Knowledge of Continuous Integration and Deployment CI/CD and experience with related tools for automating the build, test, and deployment of the application.   
• System Design: Ability to design and build highly available and scalable systems. Strong understanding of system design principles, including load balancing, caching, and data partitioning.
• Financial domain: Knowledge of financial domain is important to understand financial transactions and regulations, and to develop financial applications accordingly.
• This person should have experience working in a collaborative, Agile environment and have a strong desire to continuously improve and grow their skills.
• The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated, self-starter with a passion for technology and the ability to learn quickly.
• They will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and be ableto deliver results with minimal supervision.

Tech Stack:

• Front-end: HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React.js, and Electron.js.
• Back-end: Python, Node.js, and PHP.
• Cloud computing: AWS services such as EC2, S3, DynamoDB, Lambda, SNS and API Gateway.
• Microservices: Kubernetes, Docker, Argo, AWS Lambda Functions.
• Databases: Postgres, Snowflake, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB.
• Other: OAuth, Github

We Offer:

The Base Salary Range for this role is $140,000 $190,000 for mid level candidates and $190,000 - $240,000 for senior candidates.  This range is representative of the starting base salaries for this role at Clear Street. Where a candidate falls in this range will be based on job related factors such as relevant experience, skills, and location. This range represents Base Salary only, which is just one element of Clear Street's total compensation. The range stated does not include other factors of total compensation such as bonuses or equity.
