Senior Manager - Software Engineering

We are looking for a Senior Manager in Software Engineering to join our dynamic software engineering team in Noida. This is a unique opportunity to lead and innovate within the Intellectual Property segment, focusing on data engineering and systems integration.

This position will report to the Director of IP Technology. The role demands a hands-on approach, leading the orchestration of data services from inception to deployment, ensuring solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with customer insights.

About You – Experience, Education, Skills, and Accomplishments

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 10 year's experience in systems integration and building data services.

• Minimum of 6 years in technical leadership, managing software engineering teams.

• Profound expertise in data pipelines, data architecture, automated delivery pipelines, test-driven development and automated data validation services.

• Strong knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems, and/or distributed systems (high availability, scalability/performance, security).

• Skilled in Python, Scala, Java, or other relevant programming languages for data engineering.

• Extensive experience with DBMS, ETL tools, SQL/NoSQL databases, and complex data warehousing.

It would be great if you also had...

• Knowledge of building containerized applications and deploying them to public or private clouds, such as Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, or similar providers, end-to-end SaaS applications, and highly scalable software products. 

• Experience with real-time data processing (e.g., Kafka, Spark Streaming).

• Collaborating across departments to define requirements and drive deliverables.

• Act as a technical authority in software design, systems integration, and data services, guiding technical solutions and ensuring adherence to the highest security and privacy standards. 

• Mentoring and supporting a team of top-tier engineers. Driving the team alignment and stakeholder engagement.

Hours of Work

The work duration is 9 hours per day however you should be flexible with working hours as the role requires alignment with globally distributed teams and stakeholders on regular basis.
