Clari's Infrastructure team builds systems and tools to enable engineering velocity in a reliable manner. We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to define and design solutions to meet our business needs for availability, performance, and reliability.
You will have the opportunity to influence system design, build fault tolerance capabilities, optimize systems to improve efficiency, and enable a fast rate of innovation. You will set technical direction and lead solutions for large-scale problems, eliminate toil through automation, and drive resiliency across engineering teams.

This is a fully remote opportunity and can be worked from any location in the United States.
- Responsible for the reliability and resilience of Clari's critical applications as a Principal Site Reliability Engineer
- Develop the automation and tooling needed to keep track of the health of our infrastructure and give our customers a quick, dependable, and top-notch experience
- Outline our plan for reducing the risk associated with technology operations, which includes automated recovery and disaster preparation
- Take charge of using observability data to enhance feature development and suggest feature upgrades for current products
- Work with developers, architects, product management, operations, and other cross-functional teams
- 10+ years of relevant experience building distributed systems on a public cloud (AWS, GCP)
- Strong foundation in software application design and system internals
- Industry experience with SaaS architecture, preferably in the areas of scalability, capacity, data analysis and performance optimization
- Collaborate effectively with other engineers to solve most complex technical problems. This involves mentoring, peer reviews, participating in technical design reviews
- Experience with distributed systems in a production operations environment
- Experience working with large-scale Internet infrastructure
- Self-organized and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

It is Clari’s intent to pay all Clarians competitive wages and salaries that are motivational, fair, and equitable. The goal of Clari’s compensation program is to be transparent, attract potential employees, meet the needs of all current employees and encourage employees to stay and grow at Clari.
Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to specific work location, skill set, depth of experience, education and certifications.
The salary range for this position is $191,000 to $286,000. The compensation package for this position also includes stock options and company-paid benefits, including well-being and professional development stipends.
