Enterprise Product Data Lead (C15)

The Enterprise Product Data Lead is a leadership position in Citi’s Chief Data Office (CDO) within the Chief Operating Office (COO) organization. The mandate of COO is to lead the Transformation efforts of the firm to deliver client excellence, improved operating efficiency and returns. As part of COO, the CDO organization is responsible for an enterprise-wide effort to transform and strengthen the firm’s data, modernize data infrastructure while simplifying the data operating model and executing the strategic priorities for the firm. The CDO defines and enforces data-related policies and standards across Citi and equips the firm with the tools required to take ownership and accountability for data governance and management. The CDO comprises of four functional groups: Business Aligned Data Leads, Core Data Delivery, Data Enablers, and Data Functions & Partners.

This is a key role within Data Product & Program Management organization which is a key part of Core Data Delivery. The leader will be responsible for ensuring consistent use and adoption of product-specific critical data elements (CDEs) across regulatory and management reports. As part of this, the leader will define and manage data quality for products (e.g., deposits, loans) in terms of data accuracy, timeliness, and completeness. They will partner will Finance, CDO, Tech and LOB stakeholders to manage the end-to-end data flow including sourcing and derivations for enterprise CDEs. They will also have responsibility for overseeing all relevant tech deliverables for product data.

Responsibilities

• Build a roadmap to improve and strengthen product data across the enterprise based on reporting needs, transaction testing results and data concerns.
• Responsible for end-to-end product data roadmap across root cause analysis and remediation of data concerns
• Define and manage list of enterprise CDEs critical for key products
• Accountable for measuring and managing data quality for key products on an ongoing basis
• Lead the delivery of high-quality data for key products including defining product strategy,
• prioritizing features and managing the product lifecycle
• Full management responsibility for a team or multiple teams
• Liaise with business/function/tech partners to drive adoption of enterprise CDEs
• Develop materials to effectively and concisely articulate progress on product data strategy and execution for senior leadership and regulatory updates
• Design and rollout a Data Product Management toolkit
• Leverage AI and machine learning techniques to improve product data

• Experience creating and executing against frameworks that improve the quality and value of data to meet regulatory commitments and enhance risk management.
• Experience leveraging data glossary, lineage, and data quality tools to drive governance.
• Understanding of the overall regulatory environment and previous experience working with regulators on data plan execution, preferred.
• Strong project management skills to oversee cross-functional teams, set timelines, allocate resources and ensure delivery.

Basic Qualifications

• At least 12 years working in product management including data governance

• At least 8 years of people leadership for cross functional teams

• At least 12 years of relevant experience in Banking and Financial Services

• Bachelors Degree

Preferred Qualifications

• Masters Degree

• Experience in Regulatory and Management Reporting

• Experience with Agile Frameworks and practices

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
