The Applications Development Technology Lead Analyst is a senior level position responsible for establishing and implementing new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to lead applications systems analysis and programming activities.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with multiple management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals as well as identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements
• Resolve variety of high impact problems/projects through in-depth evaluation of complex business processes, system processes, and industry standards
• Provide expertise in area and advanced knowledge of applications programming and ensure application design adheres to the overall architecture blueprint
• Utilize advanced knowledge of system flow and develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation
• Develop comprehensive knowledge of how areas of business, such as architecture and infrastructure, integrate to accomplish business goals
• Provide in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define issues and develop innovative solutions
• Serve as advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as necessary
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in Apps Development or systems analysis role
• Extensive experience system analysis and in programming of software applications
• Experience in managing and implementing successful projects
• Subject Matter Expert (SME) in at least one area of Applications Development
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
• Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
• Master’s degree preferred

• 20+ Years of total experience.
• 17+ years of relevant experience in Ab Initio ETL covering architectural design, delivery planning, requirement analysis, design, development, and performance analysis.
• Involved in multiple projects in parallel as AbInitio Lead/Architect.
• Experience with Abinitio Batch processing, PDL, Express>It, Conduct>It, Control>Center, AbInitio Plan, Enterprise Meta>Environment (EME), AbInitio Frameworketc.
• Conducted multiple architecture reviews for ETL applications, worked on critical performance issues on applications processing large volume of data.
• Snowflake SnowPro Core Certified Professional. Re-certification needs to be done.
• Leading Abinitio infrastructure assessment/design effort starting from Development all the way to Production and do work with Citi infrastructure team for the infrastructure procurement activity.
• Lead Abinitio Interview panel member within the portfolio.
• Additionally, overseeing other modules within the project, tracking and progress reporting to the application manager and designated teams.
• Officially assigned person in the project and communicate with AbInitio Vendor Support for product related issue/concerns/discussions.
• Worked as Data Architect and performed Gap analysis between Legacy and Strategic system data/relation inconsistencies and reconciled both the system.
• Experience in data modelling using Erwin data modeler both in relational and dimensional modelling. 
• Worked in Several legacy system migration to strategic architecture. 
• Requirement analysis with business and designing for several downstream processes for Regulatory Reporting with strict SLA and quality of data. 
• Hands on experience in ETL/UNIX generic process design and implementation.
• Having good knowledge in UNIX shell scripting over a longer period.
• Involvement in Ab Initio Coe.
• Design and maintenance of complicated Generic process using AbInitio that can handle any type of source and target databases, flat file, spreadsheet etc. and customization/transformation done using parameter table. Automated process report generation over email for analysing entire load with this process. Around 18000+ tables migrated across different Projects/modules in Citi.
• Executed Data Warehousing software projects related to Banking, Utility, Telecom and Healthcare.
• Analysis of business and technical requirements and mapping them to implementation strategies and design.
• Worked in Legacy Data Migration plan into Strategic platform. 
• Worked on data profiling to understand data quality issues across different sources and thereby providing solutions to improvise data quality across individual sources.
• Proficient in Oracle SQL queries.
• Experience with Informatica Data Quality and Trillium Data Quality tools for Data Profiling and Name and Address standardization process.
• Experience in IBM Info-sphere DataStage version 8.0 and 8.1 together.
• Experience in Siebel CRM migration through SIEBEL EIM backend process in parallel with Ab Initio.
