Are you excited by the idea of using your DevOps skills to passionately build and maintain low latency
trading systems? Would you like to help us optimize, standardize, and improve our software delivery
platforms, systems and processes? CTC is seeking a DevOps Engineer for our DevOps team. As a member
of this team you will design, build and maintain cloud and on-prem infrastructure, leveraging our
Platform and processes.
Responsibilities
• Work in a highly-collaborative production and development support team
• Engage with developers over Slack, Zoom, and other methods to provide tier 1 and tier 2
support that empowers and facilitates development
• Maintain Kubernetes and bare metal platforms
• Maintain infrastructure as code solutions
• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines
• Deploy apps to Kubernetes clusters and bare metal
• Troubleshoot failed deployments
• Support developers in meeting fast-moving release cycle deadlines
• Utilize modern DevOps tools such as Terraform, GitLab, Artifactory, Conan, Conda, and Jenkins
• Maintain cloud infrastructure (Azure and AWS)
• Support the onboarding of development teams onto the DevOps platform
Qualifications
• Strong experience with end-to-end DevOps tool chains, with a focus on Jenkins and Groovybased
pipelines
• Familiarity with AWS and Azure operations, including IAM, EKS, AKS, S3, and networking
• Solid track record of supporting Kubernetes and enterprise architectures in a large scale
container-based environment.
• Complete understanding of Linux, Bash, Flux, Helm, Docker, Ansible, Terraform, Vault,
Artifactory, and networking
• Advanced git experience
• Proficient in Python and Bash shell scripting
• Experience with package/dependency management, Gradle, Conda, Conan, or Bazel experience
preferred
• Working knowledge of C++, Python and Java applications
• Understanding of observability tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Datadog and Prometheus
Compensation
- Salary Range: $125-175k, plus a discretionary bonus
- The discretionary bonus will be dependent on individual skills, experience, qualifications, and firm performance
