Exposed to the entire software development lifecycle (SDLC), you'll work on the specification, design, coding, testing and deployment of various solutions using .NET Core and other technologies.

The ideal candidate is passionate and spirited, lives and breathes Agile and firmly believes in creating clean, testable code.

Part of the Core Network organisation, the team is responsible for building the Clearing and Settlement platform. It automates the clearing and settlement with the card schemes, e.g. Visa or MasterCard. This is an essential part of the payment flow before funds become available for Checkout.com merchants. The platform consolidates the payments and delivers them to the card schemes for clearing as a batch. During clearing, the schemes consolidate the payment transactions for each issuing bank and calculate the overall net balance. Then the platform receives the reconciled batch back from the schemes making the funds available for merchants. The Clearing and Settlement engineering team is on a mission to scale the platform addressing the growth challenges using a rich toolbox of up-to-date technologies. Microservices, Event Sourcing, NoSql, Docker and automated end-to-end tests and deployment are only some examples of many.
