What You Will Be Doing
Responsibilities:
This position will be responsible for:
Design, deployment, and maintenance of network infrastructure for the ChargePoint offices, manufacturing facilities, and labs.
Design and deployment of wireless technologies for the ChargePoint offices and labs.
Design, test, implement, and maintenance a cloud-based contact center solution.
Manage day-to-day delivery of services (VOIP, SIP, ACD, Carrier Network) to ensure adherence to defined service levels with the stakeholders.
Manage and maintain integration of the contact center solutions with Salesforce, Outreach, and other applications.
Monitor SLAs, provide Root Cause Analysis, and troubleshoot day to day network and contact center related issues.
Develop documentation, including appropriate policies and procedures for all aspects of the ChargePoint telephony.
Procure network equipment, process POs, and document the network equipment inventory.
Troubleshoot network and IVR-related issues, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to minimize downtime and enhance system reliability.
Coordinate with the internal stakeholders as well as contractors on both network and telephony projects globally.
Required skills:
Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar field
- 7+ years experience in network engineering – routing, switching, L7 firewalls, VPNs, SDWAN, and network protocols.
- 5+ years experience in wireless design, deployment, and maintenance.
- 3+ years experience in network security
- 2+ year experience in public clouds administration and automation (particularly terraform.)
- Knowledgeable in DNS, DHCP, authentication and authorization technologies.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to participate in on-call rotations.
Nice to have:
- 2-year experience in a cloud based global contact center solution
- Scripting skills to automate the contact center, network, and AWS configuration.
- Network – Cisco, PAN, Aruba; and AWS certifications
