Senior ServiceNow Engineer

The  Team:

Celonis is looking for a Senior ServiceNow Engineer to join a newly formed team supporting our ServiceNow environment and knowledge solutions. The mission of the team is to improve the employee experience through automation, self-service, and easy access to knowledge to drive efficiency at Celonis. This role will be based in our lively Madrid office.

The Role:

The position is a new role here at Celonis and marks the advent and build of our ServiceNow platform solution, taking responsibility for the overall design and successful delivery of ServiceNow and other knowledge solutions (Enterprise Search, Employee Portal, Chat and AI, and more). This person will have a broad understanding of the ServiceNow Platform and is familiar with state of the art Knowledge Management solutions. The ideal candidate thrives in a dynamic fast-paced environment and is able to effectively communicate and drive technical results to the organization. The role offers the opportunity to work with plentiful greenfield space and build a world class ServiceNow capability for Celonis. 

The work you’ll do:

• Responsible for the design, implementation, and maintenance of new and existing features for the existing portfolio of applications for a business area, and recommending areas where new investment is merited.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions, leading solution design sessions and ensuring that solutions delivered have an excellent customer experience, are secure and scalable, comply with best practices and open standards.
• Drive the technical strategy for the ServiceNow and Knowledge platforms (enterprise search, employee portal, chat and AI, and more).
• Own the scalability, reliability and performance of the technical platforms, and identify and execute on opportunities for enhancement and improvement.
• Collaborate and coordinate execution with other technical teams within Celonis, and with software vendors.

The qualifications you’ll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Science, Computer Engineering (or similar field).
• 5+ years as a ServiceNow Architect, Administrator, Developer, or Implementation Specialist.
• Proven track record in architecting and building complex ServiceNow solutions, including integrations with leading technologies.
• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Application Developer certification required.
• Experience administering or developing any Enterprise AI Search solution or employee portal/intranet software is a plus.
• Experience delivering projects on time and to the requisite level of quality, collaborating with internal and external stakeholders as necessary.
• Enjoy working in an agile and dynamic environment.
• Excellent spoken and written English.
