Backend Engineer (Gateway)

As a Backend Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing the features required for our Payments Gateway team. Your feature will reach millions of users within a single day, part of your responsibility will be to implement features in a scalable and observable manner.

You will...

• Design & build mission-critical backend solutions to support the growth of the platform
• Research, design and implement solutions which will improve services
• Monitor and maintain services to keep them stable and secure

What makes you a great candidate?

• BSc/Hons/MSc degree in Computer Science or relevant IT qualification
• +5 years of experience with Java (Java 8+ and above), Spring and Spring Boot
• Experience with AWS Cloud Services, Microservices or Microsoft Azure
• Experience developing or integrating with payment systems
• Experience with front-end web stacks and/or mobile development
