About The Role:

Carbyne is looking for an IT expert with experience in FortiGate Firewall configuration, expertise in static and dynamic (BGP) routing, SDWAN configuration, and failover protocols for a short-term project between 30-40 hours.

Responsibilities:

1. Design, implement, and manage all aspects of FortiGate Firewall configurations for a specific project.
2. Configure static and dynamic BGP routing for optimal network traffic flow.
3. Design and implement an SD-WAN solution utilizing FortiGate technology to ensure efficient and reliable WAN connectivity.
4. Configure and maintain failover protocols to guarantee network uptime and redundancy.
5. Monitor network performance and identify potential security threats.
6. Document configurations and procedures for clear and efficient knowledge transfer.

1.     Extensive experience configuring and managing Fortinet FortiGate Firewalls

2.     In-depth knowledge of static and dynamic routing protocols, particularly BGP, on FortiGate platforms

3.     Proven ability to design and implement SD-WAN (Software-Defined Wide Area Network) configurations on FortiGate devices.

4.     Expertise in configuring and managing failover protocols for high availability and network resilience.

5.     Strong understanding of network security best practices and a commitment to maintaining a secure environment

6.     Excellent communication and collaboration skills

7.     Can commit to a project of 30-40 hours.
