Sr Application Engineer - Synthesis

This individual should be able to support the technical solution development & implementation. The responsibility includes interfacing with customer, working with leads to ensure project requirements are complete, and providing technical support & development functions during the Implementation Phase. This individual should have a good breadth of knowledge  in several of the following categories. Front-End * Logical Synthesis * Physical Synthesis * Design for Test (DFT), ATPG * RTL Power Estimation and  * Static Timing Analysis.

We need a pro-active, enthusiastic, customer-facing solution engineer who is an good in circuits, design and timing analysis. This person will be focused on working with customer in logic synthesis space.

 The ideal candidate should have: 

(1) Understands ASIC Design implementation process and steps

(2) Exposure & experience with Synthesis (Genus, RTL Compiler, Design Compiler)

 (3) Experience with EDA tools in the IC digital implementation & signoff flows (STA tools)

 (4) Strong STA and SDC debugging abilities are required.

 (5) Ability to understand and write RTL (System Verilog, Verilog, VHDL)

Requirements:

(1) Requires a MS in EE or BS + 2 yrs industry related experience in design and EDA (Digital Implementation/Signoff)

(2) Exposure to Digital Implementation software with at least one major EDA vendor flow.

(3) Good Automation skills using Perl, Tcl and shell scripting

(4) Strong analytical & analysis skills covering digital implementation is critical. 

The annual salary range for California is $82,600 to $153,400. You may also be eligible to receive incentive compensation: bonus, equity, and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the salary range is a guideline and compensation may vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
