Job Summary

Lead Software Engineer will improve EDA software throughput using ML/AI techniques. The person will technically responsible for developing machine learning based new technology.

Ability to prioritize well, communicate clearly, have a consistent track record of delivery and excellent software engineering skills. Creative engineering balanced with high quality and a customer focus. Must be able to work across multiple facets of the project and juggle multiple responsibilities at the same time. Strong analytic capability and the ability to create innovative solutions. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who is looking to grow their career in a fast paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Design machine learning systems
• Research and implement appropriate ML algorithms and tools
• Develop machine learning applications according to requirements
• Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods
• Run machine learning tests and experiments
• Perform statistical analysis and fine-tuning using test results
• Train and retrain systems when necessary
• Extend existing ML libraries and frameworks
• Keep abreast of developments in the field

Requirements and skills

• Proven experience as a Machine Learning Engineer or similar role
• Understanding of data structures, data modeling and software architecture
• Deep knowledge of math, probability, statistics and algorithms
• Ability to write robust code in Python, Java and R
• Familiarity with machine learning frameworks (like Keras or PyTorch) and libraries (like scikit-learn)
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

• BE/BTech/ME/MS/MTech in Computer-Science/Electronics with specialization in AI/ML.

Behavioral skills required

• Capable of generating and delivering project/ technical presentations/ reviews. Writes clear design and functional specifications.  Gives feedback to others on their specifications. 
• Comfortable expressing opinions, defending ideas, and actively engaging in discussions on technical issues.
• Provide technical guidance and advice to lower level or less experienced engineers within the team.  Understand/share experience as an engineer with new employees (e.g., showing new employees “the ropes.”).
• Interface with cross-functional team members, customers and the field, as required, to answer questions about specific features and sub systems
• Interacts regularly with customers and management;
• Strong interpersonal communication skills
