Python Software Engineer

Bitcoin mining is one of the fastest-evolving industries. At Braiins, we develop and operate Braiins Pool, the first Bitcoin mining pool in the world. We are currently seeking experienced Python backend developers who are eager to learn Rust language. 

In this role, you will be involved in the entire lifecycle, from architecture design to the development of new features and resolving production issues.

Our main technologies include Python (Django), Rust (Tokio), PostgreSQL, and Kafka. You will be part of a multidisciplinary remote team.

Requirements:

• Proficient in Python programming and associated frameworks and tooling (Django, virtualenv, tox, pytest).

• Advanced experience with Linux and Docker.

• Advanced knowledge of SQL, experience with Postgres is an advantage.

• Willingness to learn Rust. Professional or hobby experience with Rust language is an advantage.

• To be able to work in a team as well as on your own.

• Be accountable for the quality of your work.

Experience not only with the development but also with the operation of the services - you are aware of technologies such as Gitlab CI / CD, ELK, Prometheus & Grafana & PagerDuty and Kubernetes.
