experience something special in every car we’ve touched. We are looking for an enthusiastic, technically strong Software/Embedded focused Program Manager to join our rapidly growing global team. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting next generation experiences in some of the world’s leading automobiles.

The successful candidate will enjoy working with high caliber, cross functional teams to deliver high quality software projects and programs. They will have the chance to make an impact and shape the

development process going forward with key leadership in a highly visible role. They will also have a proven record of delivering new and challenging software features, ideally in an embedded environment. This individual will enjoy collaborating with a diverse team, establishing strong relationships with other leaders, while learning and sharing knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain Software Delivery Plan, monitor progress on delivery vs agreed scope, time and quality measures.

  • Coordinate and synchronize across software development teams and other internal groups to design, build, test, and release software on time and with high quality.

  • Drive and lead delivery of enabling technologies and experiences.

  • Create and maintain project documentation aligned with ASPICE.

  • Handle interdependencies between teams and identify and manage requirements and architectural convergence as well as software delivery risks.

  • Build valued working relationships with technical subject matter experts, stakeholders, and senior management.

  • Manage requirements, scope, schedule, budget, quality, and risks for each project.

  • Demonstrate strong organizational and leadership skills and outstanding written and verbal communication talent.

  • Lead triage activity of incoming software defects to prioritize and address to Vendor/Supplier.

  • Coordinate with Vendor defect fixing priorities and agree expected delivery date.

  • Communicating with software developers and project managers about the current progress of issues and solutions provided by Vendor/Supplier.

  • Identify, oversee, and proactively manage resource constraints and conflicts affecting multiple projects within the program to ensure on-time, high-quality delivery.

  • Aid in financial planning and resource forecasting for regional programs.

  • Engage in risk mitigation efforts that influence the trajectory of multiple project deliveries.

  • Act as the main contact for matters involving project planning, issues tracking, scope changes, risks, or interfaces/dependencies and project status reporting.

  • Capture lessons learned.

Skills & Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of project management experience in a related industry.

  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and critical thinking skills.

  • Proficiency in planning, executing, and monitoring large-scale Automotive software projects, with a strong understanding of software development methodologies.

  • Fluency with project planning and change management tools, e.g. Ms Project, Jira. Knowledge of requirements management and configuration management tools is a plus. 

  • Ability to establish and maintain key partnership engagements.

  • Experience in managing firmware suppliers and third-party development partners.

  • Prior software development and test experience with embedded applications, C, C++, MATLAB, or Python is a plus.

  • Expertise in Agile/Scrum methodologies and the ability to implement them effectively in software development projects.

  • Fluency in German language both verbal and written is required for this role.

  • You are currently based in and eligible to work in Germany
