Bose Corporation is a leader of audio research and audio systems. We are looking for passionate software engineers to join our team and play a role in helping support our belief that Sound has the power to transport us and transform us.

We are looking for candidates to join the Bose Software Organization to help explore and demonstrate where advancements in AI can improve our development environments and offer improvements to the workflow of our engineers. We expect to explore multiple projects that will showcase where recent advancements in the software industry can help transform the way we work.

This role requires strong project management skills, technical expertise in software development and AI technologies, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope and objectives in collaboration with project stakeholders
• Demonstrate the evaluation of AI technologies and tools in developer workflows along with documentation of advantages and disadvantages of different approaches
• Develop proof-of-concepts, documentation, trainings, and/or summaries to influence and transform our organization
• Provide regular updates and reports to stakeholders on project status and milestones

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Proven experience using AI development tools with examples
• Understanding of AI technologies (ML, NLP, Computer Vision, etc…) and their applications in software development
• Proficiency with python
• Familiarity with agile development methodologies, software development processes, and version control systems (preferrably git)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong project management skills and the ability to thrive on challenging development schedules
