Sr Staff Engineer / Technical Lead

Role

• Responsible for building/scaling data integrations such Salesforce, Slack, Email, Zoom
• Build analytical timeseries dashboards /metrics
• Scale AI modeling and infrastructure
• Overall data pipeline infrastructure
• Build features to support product roadmap and customer needs

Experience and Skills

• This is a hands-on backend or technical leader position.
• You are currently a senior individual contributor or a technical leader managing a small team, and delivering features in a fast-paced environment.
• You have 10+ years of software engineering experience, ideally in an enterprise setting.
• You are an expert in Python, with at least 6+ years of experience building scalable backend APIs in Python.
• You have a strong data background
• Deep experience with MongoDB or a SQL database.
• Strong data modeling skills
• Experience with real-time streaming systems a big plus - Kafka, Kinesis, Spark, Apache Flink, etc.
• You have strong API development experience
• Built scalable APIs in Python supporting 1000s of requests per second.
• Strong knowledge of DJango or Flask 
• Strong experience with performance tuning of APIs and database queries.
• You have the ability to learn new systems and technologies very quickly. 
• You have the ability to work in a fast changing environment, interface with PMs, identify requirements, build roadmap and drive execution with their team.
