The Developer Experience teams provide all the Booking.com developers with software development workflows and tools that enable them to do their best work and to build outstanding travel products. We accomplish this by providing a fast, safe and easy to use path from concept to production without distractions.

Key Job Responsibilities and Duties:

For this role, we're looking for someone to join the team responsible for source code management and CI/CD runner infrastructure across the company.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Improve performance of build pipelines used by over 3000 engineers
• Join in on a large ongoing migration of source code repositories towards a cloud solution while minimizing impact for our developers
• Help our customers get the most out of the tools we provide; both tactically (customer support) and strategically (larger initiatives)
• Rethink our runner infrastructure to solve all customer use cases while being secure and scalable

Role Qualifications and Requirements:

• You have 3+ years of validated experience as a Software Developer. You have worked on the design, development, testing, and monitoring of distributed systems and product(s) that impact millions of customers
• You are already proficient in at least one of the following programming languages: Golang, Python, Java, Perl. More importantly, you are eager to learn what is required to develop and support both new and existing solutions
• You’re experienced in developing CI/CD infrastructure and Infrastructure as Code (terraform), preferably for multiple teams with varying demands, and have a deep understanding of Git
• You are an excellent communicator and able to influence and cooperate with people at all levels
