Job Description Qualifications:

Position Overview:

This is a Manufacturing Engineering level 2/3 to join the BDS Executive Fleet Engineering team. This position is supporting the B52 modification occurring in San Antonio, TX.

Our teams are currently hiring for a broad range of experience levels including; Associate and Experienced level Manufacturing Engineers.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Assists in the development and implementation of production and tooling methodologies.

  • Participates as a member of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) in the integration of technical solutions.

  • Works with others to develop, identify and implement conceptual designs and maintenance of the program architecture for build.

  • Assists in implementing manufacturing plans. Resolves technical problems and assists in the implementation of new engineering principles, theories, advanced technologies and concepts.

  • Assists in the implementation of Lean principles and technologies.

  • Interfaces with professional associations, suppliers, IPTs and internal customers to develop products, skills, knowledge and experience.

This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. A final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.

The position requires ability to obtain program access, for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship only.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite.  The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options

Basic Qualifications (Required Skill/Experience):

  • Bachelor of Science degree from an accredited course of study in engineering, engineering technology (includes manufacturing engineering technology), chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science

  • 2+ years of engineering experience or Masters Degree

  • Ability to work Overtime or Weekends as needed

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience in Manufacturing, Maintenance and/or Modification processes

  • Experience in model based engineering

  • Experience with Manufacturing Planning systems (GOLDesp or MESCI)

  • Experience with Engineering drawing reviews (NRPD process, L+DBR)

  • Experience in CAD/CAM software (CATIA/IVT)

  • Experience with MS EXCEL, SQL and data analysis

Typical Education & Experience:

Associate (Level 2): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Experienced (Level 3): Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 5 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD, Master+3 years' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.

Relocation:

Pay is based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Summary pay range (Associate - Level 2): $73,650 - $102,350 Summary pay range (Experienced - Level 3): $90,100 - $121,900
