About the Role

The Senior Engineer, React Native will work closely with stakeholders to bring board meeting management to life. You will build and maintain scalable and performance web applications using the React library. You will work with a team of engineers to produce experiences that exceed industry standards for accessibility, usability, and performance. 

Duties/Responsibilities

• Responsible for designing, developing and delivering web applications
• Responsible for building customer facing single page application using react.js
• Collaborate with cross functional teams 
• Responsible for delivery of documentation and UI code
• Knowledge of Full Stack Development
• Experience in git/github
• Experience across all phases of the software development lifecycle
• You will build web component libraries, templates, and client-side applications 
• Integrate with our backend services to make sure we are delivering a great mobile user experience that is super-fast for end users
• Write & review high quality, performant code for their React Native mobile app
• Inform key product & infrastructure decisions, with an eye towards scalability
• Manage specific projects as assigned and ensure they are completed in a timely manner
• Interact professionally and effectively through verbal and written communication with teammates and internal stakeholders as needed

Experience/Education/Skills

• 3+ years direct experience with React Native
• You know all the ins and outs of React Native, are intimately familiar with deployment and release processes 
• Experience working in an early-stage engineering team, working through ambiguity and being a self-starter
• You recognize the importance of clear communication, documented planning, and transparent, frequent feedback
• You love diving into new areas and exploring new languages, frameworks, and technologies,  
• Demonstrated ability to build functional, user-friendly SaaS products
• Understanding of the software-as-a-service (SaaS) model and cloud-based environments
• Knowledge of software development life cycle and agile methodologies
• Preferred experience integrating third-party technologies
• Preferred experience using the Laravel framework hosted in Amazon Web Services
• Self-motivated, organized, disciplined and able to work on your own and as part of a team
• Detail-oriented with strong attention to follow-through 
• Preferred location: Toronto, Canada OR Indianapolis, Indiana; will consider remote throughout the United States & Canada.
