The Data Operations team builds capabilities and practices that support the usage of data across BILL. The team supports stakeholders across the company to understand their needs, collect applicable requirements, develop solutions, solicit feedback, deploy to the data ecosystem, and showcase the result. Engineers on the Data Operations team bring a sense of pragmatic perfectionism, doing their best work every day and delivering quality data products to those whom they support.
We’d love to chat if you have:
Qualifications
- BS/BA in a technical related field, such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, or equivalent work experience required
- 6+ years experience in a data warehousing role
- 4+ years in financial services and/or SaaS companies
Competencies (Attributes needed to be successful in this role):
- Expert proficiency in at least one SQL variant, preferably multiple
- Expert knowledge of ETL design patterns, ingestion methods, and orchestration
- Expert knowledge of warehouse schema design and dimensional data modeling
- Expert knowledge of cloud data warehouses, preferably multiple
- Experience designing or building ground-up data ecosystems
- History of project delivery spanning multiple business units, contributing direct value to stakeholders
- History of leading multi-phase migrations or transformations of enterprise data systems
Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed below.
