Full Stack Engineer - 2024 Onboarding

The Role:

As a Frontend-Focused Full Stack Software Engineer, you'll have a pivotal role in developing and supporting client esports campaigns and platform product services, with a strong emphasis on frontend technologies. Your expertise in software development, coupled with your passion for video games, will drive the success of our projects. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and support client and platform projects with a primary focus on frontend technologies, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
• Work closely with client managers, designers, and technical managers to ensure clarity on project scope, breaking down complex tasks into demoable parts aligned with project goals.
• Build, test, and demonstrate user stories with a focus on creating engaging and intuitive user interfaces.
• Collaborate with backend developers to ensure seamless integration of frontend and backend technologies.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of our frontend development practices and standards.

Required Experience and Skills:

• At least two-three years of professional team based work experience in full-stack software development, with a strong emphasis on frontend development.
• Proficiency in frontend technologies, including JavaScript, CSS, React, and some exposure to TypeScript.
• Familiarity with backend technologies such as Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, with some experience in creating or refining API endpoints, with experience in integrating ready made endpoints.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.

Additional Experience

Having experience in any of the following are a benefit, but not required:

• Experience with GitHub Actions and AWS services like CDK, CloudFront, ElasticBeanstalk or ECS, Route 53, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with decoupled CMSs, Storyblok, Contentful or the like
• Familiarity with modern frameworks like Nextjs, Remix, Gatsby or the like
