RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Perform requirements analysis and translate to high low level technical design.

  • Participate in Pl training and grooming sessions to discuss detailed business requirements and break them into user stories for the Planned Iteration.

  • Create system requirements and design documents, updating the wiki pages for end users to show progress of the development efforts.

  • Provide functional and technical guidance in evaluating applications systems as needed.

  • Write complex queries to build Store Procedures to fetch the required data from multiple tables by using inner and outer join operations.

  • Ensure software scalability, data integrity, maintainability, and reliability throughout the interfacing of Tech ADS with the service users.

  • Design and develop solution architectures to Migrate data from various Relational Database Servers to Hadoop.

  • Utilize full stack engineering, Linux, coding and debugging.

  • Design and develop production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment.

  • Design and develop new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets utilizing Elasticsearch and Redis.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related; and

  • 3 years of experience in the job offered or a related IT occupation.

  • Must include 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Designing and developing solution architectures to Migrate data from various Relational Database Servers to Hadoop;

  • Utilizing full stack engineering, Linux, coding and debugging;

  • Designing and developing production ready software using web, cloud and distributed technologies such as Apache Spark, Hadoop, Microservices, and CI/CD cloud deployment; and,

  • Designing and developing new proof of concept projects to enhance current software systems to handle increased traffic and larger datasets utilizing Elasticsearch and Redis.
