Position: DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Engineer

Location: Philadelphia, PA - Hybrid

Department: Research & Development

Job Type: Full-Time regular

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced DevOps Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with expertise in Kubernetes, Azure, VMware, and a strong background in technical support to join our innovative technology company. You will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and managing our hybrid infrastructure, ensuring the smooth deployment, and scaling of applications across various platforms. You will work closely with developers, platform administrators, and other stakeholders to deliver efficient and robust infrastructure solutions while providing exceptional technical support.

Responsibilities:

• Azure Cloud Infrastructure Management: 1-3 years of experience designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based infrastructure solutions, with a focus on Azure environments, to support R&D development.

• Collaboration and Innovation: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to foster innovation in R&D processes.

• Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud environments for performance, security, and cost-effectiveness.

• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

• Research and Development: Research new cloud technologies and methodologies.

• Problem Solving: Solve complex technical challenges and develop innovative solutions.

• Documentation: Maintain documentation of infrastructure setups, processes, and best practices.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.

• Strong experience in cloud infrastructure management, specifically with Azure.

• Proficient in cloud services (AWS, GCP) and containerization technologies (Azure Kubernetes Service, Docker, Kubernetes).

• Solid understanding of DevOps tools and practices.

• Excellent problem-solving skills.

• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Cloud technology certifications.

• Experience in automated deployment and PowerShell etc.).

Salary Range:

$70,800.00 - $118,000.00

This pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation that the position offers, and final compensation can vary within the range depending on work location, job experience, skills, and relevant educational attainment and/or training.
