We are looking for an individual to participate in efforts to create features and functionality associated with our web and backend initiatives. This position part of our globally distributed Horizontal Capabilities team will actively participate in agile development efforts. Horizontal capability team is responsible for core functionalities and supporting the other digital experience front end teams. Team is currently engaged in creating and maintaining high performant microservices which are resilient and highly scalable. We strive for very high-quality standards. You will report to manager and its a hybrid work mode.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with architects, other developers, and other functional teams on sprints.

• Provide estimates for stories assigned in sprints.

• Implement functional requirements and architectural components defined by product management and architects respectively.

• Participate in design and implementation of services that integrates with internal and external systems.

• Understand the application and be a SME on implementation.

• Participate with other developers in identifying and recommending best practices around architecture, development, and design.

• Develop web services for internal and external customers.

Requirements

• 2 to 5 years of Java with spring or NodeJS

• Experience building highly scalable systems

• Strong understanding of Object Oriented and Software Design Patterns

• BS in Computer Science or Equivalent

• Strong English communications skills (verbal and written)

Additional Requirements

• 1 years of development experience with React or Angular or Front end technologies

• Knowledge of AWS or cloud is a huge plus
