JOB TITLE: Senior System Engineer

JOB LOCATION: 208 S. Akard Street, Dallas, Texas 75202 [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home]

Senior System Engineer needed by AT&T Services. Inc. in Dallas, Texas [and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.; may work from home] to  contribute to design and implementation of cloud solutions which are secure, scalable, resilient, monitored, auditable, and cost optimized. Design and develop solutions for Azure migrations and transformation tools. Work on migration of existing platforms and applications to Azure. Work on automation of cloud-based infrastructure deployments and maintenance. Build, manage, and maintain tools for deployment, monitoring, and operations. Evaluate and recommend tools, technologies, and processes to ensure the highest quality and performance is achieved. Focus on scalability, security, and availability of all infrastructures and processes. Identify and address infrastructure deficiencies, availability gaps, and performance bottlenecks. Serve as escalation for T2-T3 cloud infrastructure support. Determine technical feasibility of solutions for business requirements. Collaborate with peer organizations, product delivery teams, and support organizations on technical issues and provide guidance. Work in different shifts overlapping US business hours. Utilize core cloud technologies. Utilize Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting. Apply knowledge in application migrations to cloud using native patterns. Utilize technologies including Azure DevOps, VMSS, Vnet, Azure Load balancer, Azure Application gateway, Azure Private Link, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor/Application Insights, AKS, Azure Cache, Event Hub, Azure Functions AWS EC2, ALB/ELB, RDS, S3, LAMBDA, API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, ElastiCache, EKS, Ansible, Terraform, shell scripting, and Kubernete.

Utilize Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert certification.

REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Master’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree, in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Science and 2 years of experience in the job offered or 2 years of experience in a related occupation utilizing core cloud technologies; utilizing Azure core cloud technologies in a high traffic production setting; applying knowledge in application migrations to cloud using native patterns; and utilizing technologies including Azure DevOps, VMSS, Vnet, Azure Load balancer, Azure Application gateway, Azure Private Link, Cosmos DB, Azure Monitor/Application Insights, AKS, Azure Cache, Event Hub, Azure Functions AWS EC2, ALB/ELB, RDS, S3, LAMBDA, API Gateway, CloudFront, SNS, SQS, DynamoDB, Cloudwatch, ElastiCache, EKS, Ansible, Terraform, shell scripting, and Kubernete.
