Position:               Principal Validation Engineer (multiple openings)

Job Location:     Astera Labs, Inc., 2901 Tasman Drive, Suite 204, Santa Clara, CA 95054 USA

With a high degree of independent decision making and minimum supervision, the Principal Validation Engineer will be responsible for the following duties:

• Conceptualizing Defining and Formulating a comprehensive SoC validation plan, designing experiments to root-cause unexpected behavior or defects and generating test reports.
• Driving improvement in, developing and executing laboratory testing procedures as outlined in the SoC validation plan to ensure that SoC functionality conforms to target specifications and industry standards.
• Own development of software tool-kits and automation utilities for use in post-Silicon validation and product integration in customer systems.
• Leading engagement with end customer(s) for product integration, in-system testing and remedying anomalous behavior.
  
  

This position requires a U.S. Master’s degree or foreign equivalent, in Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a closely related field, and two (2) years of experience as a Design Engineer, Verification Engineer, Engineer Manager, or closely related occupation

Must have experience with:

1. Oscilloscopes,
2. Bit Error Rate Testers,
3. Vector Network Analyzer,
4. Python,
5. Ethernet

Salary: $235,000 - $245,000 per year; Full-Time.
