Job Description

Join our team as a Senior HVAC Engineer and drive projects forward within our Client Organisation. Your role focuses on replacing/refurbishing equipment to meet modern standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Define project requirements.
  • Manage engineering support.
  • Facilitate HAZID/HAZOP reviews.
  • Review project documentation.
  • Oversee detailed design.
  • Provide technical oversight.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ensure compliance with standards.
  • Support training and development.
  • Site Surveys

Project Interfaces:

  • Framework Contractors
  • Supply Chain Design Team
  • Site Stakeholders
  • Original Equipment Manufacturers
  • Client Project management, commercial and project control teams

 

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • Degree in relevant engineering/scientific discipline.
  • Chartered Engineer status or ability to attain it.

Experience:

  • Building services engineering knowledge.
  • HVAC system design expertise.
  • Proficiency in ventilation system design.
  • Familiarity with codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Theoretical and practical design experience.
  • UK nuclear industry experience preferred.
  • Proficiency in relevant software.
  • Basic health and safety training.

Additional Information

  • Permanent Staff  or Umbrella Contractor Position 
  • Hybrid working - up to 3 days/week in Glasgow every two weeks
  • SC Clearance required, 
  • Sole UK National
