Infrastructure Engineer

The role

We are expanding our data infrastructure team within Arta to build the backbone of this mission where data is everything: research, ML models, trading systems and also in the UI of our product. All of these can only be as good as our data itself. In order to serve all these use cases, we ingest and process data from multiple sources, across several asset classes and build our global security master.

What you will do

• Design and implement across the entire stack (data pipeline, storage, trading system, research infrastructure)

• Collaborate with our frontend, research and trading teams to ensure that our data supports their use cases

• Working with third parties to integrate with their services

• Processing data at scale while maintaining the highest level of quality and precision - necessary for research and autonomous trading decisions.

Who you are

• You have 5+ years of experience as a software engineer working on backend systems and infrastructure

• You have experience in Python, C++, Web Services

• Bonus: You have experience with data infrastructure systems like Apache Beam, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow…

• Bonus: You have hands-on experience implementing or integrating financial products and services

• You must be authorized to work in the United States

• You are based in the United States or Canada, or you have a plan to relocate 

• You are able to visit the Mountain View office when needed
