Senior DevOps Engineer

As a Senior DevOps Engineer you will act as a dedicated resource to support AppOmni Engineering teams in maintaining and building out infrastructure, CI/CD capabilities to increase developer/release velocity, and operational observability and monitoring capabilities. In collaboration with technical leadership, you will work on designing and building new infrastructure at AppOmni, while building out monitoring capabilities to identify and predict issues with performance, capacity, and design.

The Senior DevOps role will assist in the design and growth of AppOmni infrastructure using Terraform. This work will support the deployment of multiple new AppOmni stacks across different geographical zones. Successful candidates will also be able to establish foundational standards and SOPs for DevOps practice at AppOmni.

You have

• Excellent technical and non-technical communication skills
• Experience designing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using commercial solutions (Github Actions, CircleCI)
• A solid background in configuration management and infrastructure-as-code(Terraform)
• Solid experience in monitoring/observability systems (Grafana, Prometheus, etc.)
• Demonstrated knowledge with Container orchestration ( Kubernetes/GKE)
• Experience managing Kubernetes platforms and resources, and using Kubernetes deployment tool and patterns ( Helm, GitOps, Knative)

• Experience building internal DevOps tooling/frameworks
• Experience working on and within GCP and/or AWS
• Hands-on experience with Python or Golang
