Lead Performance Test Engineer

AppOmni is in growth mode and we're revolutionizing how enterprise customers configure and secure their cloud SaaS platforms.  We are growing rapidly and need an experienced, innovative and results-oriented SDET (Software Developer in Test) Lead engineer to maintain the level of trust and delight for our awesome customers!

We are looking for a passionate SDET Lead to design automated and manual tests. This position’s duties include designing automation scripts and finding solutions for automation problems. In addition to maintaining our manual test suite, test developers build and execute test scripts for functional, integration, end-to-end and API testing of new features, regression testing and bug fixes. This role works closely with software engineers, fellow QA engineers, and business partners.

Ultimately, a top-notch SDET Lead will be proficient in Test Automation in Cloud environment, NodeJS and/or Python with good decision making and communication skills.

In this role

• Designing and developing automated tests
• Iterating and Improving on automation frameworks and toolsResearching issues in software through testing.
• Proficient in CI/CD implementation.
• Collaborating with others in the team to develop solutions.
• Performing black-box, white-box, functional, system, end to end, data integrity, user acceptance, smoke, regression, and ad hoc testing.
• Precisely documenting defects including steps to reproduce, relative logs, and errors.
• Keeping updated with the latest industry developments.

You have

• 10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science
• Previous experience as a Senior Test Engineer of SDET doing automation testing.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as NodeJS and Python.
• Good exposure to SaaS environments
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Highly accurate and detail-oriented.
