Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Apella is applying computer vision, machine learning and NLP to improve the standard of care in the most critical aspect of healthcare; surgery. We build applications to enable surgeons, nurses, and hospital administrators to deliver the highest quality care. We are looking for an experienced infrastructure engineer to join our team and work across our cloud infrastructure in GCP and our edge services. We need brave people who are not afraid to jump in and work on unfamiliar systems and improve them. Our software engineers work with product managers to specify our backend systems to meet customer needs.

You are a hands-on systems thinker who enjoys finding performance bottlenecks and obliterating them. You are a team player, and can take loose specifications from product requirements and build infrastructure that is performant, scalable and easy to maintain. As an early member of the team, you will have the opportunity to set the culture of our infrastructure practice.
