How will you make an impact in this role?
Responsible for application development for Anti-Money Laundering cases in the Global Risk and Compliance Technology organization as part of the Financial Crimes platform. The incumbent will have an in-depth knowledge of American Express AML processes and associated data to support case investigation.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher, or equivalent experience in Technology
- In-depth understanding of the GAITS application, integrated SOR's for data retrieval, and system architecture
- Full understanding of Agile development practices and leading by example in delivery of software in this fashion
- 13+ years of software development and leading engineers to deliver high quality software products
- 10+ years extensive experience and expertise in software analysis, design and development in n-tier distributed systems and websites in cards, banking and finance domain
- 5+ years experience in using AWS SDK, AWS CLI, Cloud S3 Storage.
- Full stack .NET, .NET Core engineer
- Certified AWS Cloud Practitioner
- Certified Safe Agile Practitioner.
- Expertise in programming with C#, Javascript, Bash/Bash Scripting, VB.NET, VBA, ASP.NET, Razor Pages, ASP.NET CORE, WEB API, XML, ADO.NET, SQL-Server, Postgres, Oracle, Mongo DB, Redis, VS Code, Visual Studio 2023, JetBrains Rider, DataGrip, Ajax, Telerik, LINQ, HTML5, CSS, IIS.
- Expertise in developing applications using .NET Framework 4.8, .NET Core, .NET 6.0. design patterns such using MVC, MVVM, MVP, and Web Forms.
- Strong experience in working with decoupled architecture using MVC framework, decoupling the presentation layer, business layer and data access layer.
- Expertise in using ORM tools such as Entity Framework, Dapper, NHibernate, LINQ to SQL, LINQ to XML, LINQ to Objects, LINQ to Entities, LINQ to Dataset, LINQ to SQL, LINQ to XML, LINQ to Objects, LINQ to Entities, LINQ to Dataset
- Expertise in source controls tools such as GIT, BitBucket, GITHUB, SVN pipeline.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines Jenkins and XLR and Liquibase for SQL CD and DB versioning.
- Experience in using Github Action for CICD automation
- Experience in setting up and develop applications using pipeline tools such as RabbitMq, Kafka, Hangfire and Big data search platforms such as Apache Solr, Apache Lucene
- Experience in using API interfaces to sanctions, compliance screening tools
- Adept in creating Restful APIs, microservices and web-based applications using technologies HTML5, CSS3, Javascript, Bootstrap, Telerik controls, ReactJs, AngularJs and JQuery. Using JSON, XSD, XML for data exchange and data validation.
- Strong experience in using Swagger for API documentation and using API tools like Postman, Fiddler.
- Expertise in using Agile Management tools such as Rally, JIRA, Sharepoint, Confluence. Experience in creating custom forms, tables with rules in Confluence.
- Implemented .NET Security features such as Authentication Authorization using Certification based client authentication, Window-based Authentication, Authorizing Users, and Roles.
- SQL Server Reporting Service (SSRS) and SQL Server Integration Service (SSIS) experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- A DevOps mindset, which includes identifying problems, coding and delivering the necessary fixes
- Proven ability to identify process bottlenecks and propose in-depth solutions, shared across the team and drive to achieve said outcomes
- Strong collaborative skills, ability to work independently and contribute to a combined team effort to achieve common goals
- Ability to lead junior Engineers and guide them to be productive team members
- Demonstrate a passion for continuous learning and willingness to adopt new technologies
Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
