• •Perform technical aspects of software development for assigned applications including design, developing prototypes, and coding assignments
  •Function as a leader on an agile team by contributing to software builds through consistent development practices (tools, common components, and documentation)
  •Lead code reviews and automated testing
  •Debug software components and identify code defects for remediation
  •Leads the deployment, support, and monitoring of software across test, integration, and production environments.

  •Mentor and guide team members to success within the team Education & Experience
  Up to 6+ years of software development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience such as:
  •Demonstrated experience in Agile development, application design, software development, and testing
  •Thorough understanding of XML,SOAP, JSON, web services technologies, and data structure fundamentals, with experience in multi-threaded programming
  •Experience with  PEGA, Java/J2EE, Spring Boot, SQL,
  •Hands-on expertise with application design, software development and automated testing
  •RESTful API development experience
  •Experience with continuous integration/deployment (Jenkins, Maven, XLR, Mockito, SOAPUI, JMeter).
  •Experience with Java applications design and development in an Enterprise setting using Java, J2EE, node, Spring Boot, Relation DBMSs
  •Expertise in objected oriented analysis and design across a variety of platforms
  •Ability to effectively communicate to internal and external business partners on architecture and solution design
  •Bachelor’s Degree in computer science, computer science engineering, or related experience required; advanced degree preferred Knowledge/Skills
  •Collaborates with leadership across multiple teams to define solution requirements and technical implementation Engineering & Architecture
  •Demonstrate technical expertise to help team members overcome technical problems
  •Solves technical problems outside of day-to-day responsibilities
  •Contributes to the success of many teams achieving their goals

How will you make an impact in this role?

Responsible for contacting clients with overdue accounts to secure the settlement of the account. Also they do preventive work to avoid future overdues with accounts that have a high exposure.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or related experience with advanced degree preferred
• Work with a Java and PEGA stack to build user experiences and business services, using American Express frameworks and cloud platform.
• 8 to 12 years of experience managing agile software engineering teams designing and building software products in a fast paced, complex, and dynamic product development environment.
• A Full-stack expert having expertise in building web applications revolving around technology stacks like PEGA, Java Springboot, Spring, Kafka, Redis etc. Also, in-depth knowledge on Application design, Testing capabilities, Design & building Microservices. 
• Knowledge of Mainframes would be an added advantage
• Extensive hands-on experience building distributed applications and managing the development of complex, large scale enterprise applications and products that require a deep understanding of application logic and dependencies.
• Experience managing large engineering teams using a servant leadership mindset.
• Proven experience attracting, hiring retaining and leading top engineering talent and high-performance product engineering teams (i.e., Full Time Employees, not partners/contractors). 
• Experience with Scrum, Kanban, or another Agile application development methodology.
• Proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts.
• Knowledge CI/CD, system testing, test automation. Experience in infrastructure, application monitoring, platform stabilization and service performance a plus.
