How will you make an impact in this role?

Join a culture of data-driven success. The Global Network Infrastructure team fosters effective metrics, data-driven processes, and architecture simplification. Our Data Engineers utilize cutting-edge technology to design, manage and analyze data that fuels better decisions, maximizes value, and elevates customer satisfaction.

We will leverage your expertise in data components to identify and solve business challenges. If you have experience with data architecture, modeling, database objects and administration, you can help us unlock valuable insights for customer-facing, business, and internal applications. Some of your responsibilities may include:

  • Design and build data models for efficient processing and standardized metrics.
  • Collaborate with network, business, and application teams to translate data needs into actionable insights.
  • Develop reports, processes and KPI’s to drive data-driven decisions.
  • Champion innovation and best practices to optimize data solutions and infrastructure.
  • Work collaboratively in a distributed environment to deliver high-impact features.
  • Partner with key network stakeholders, architects, and engineers to design data solutions to meet enterprise platform objectives and goals.
  • Stays abreast of new DBMS features and functions and drive adoption across the team to use product capabilities.
  • Contributes to decisions about tools, methods, and approaches.
  • Works closely with network and infrastructure product owners on blueprints and planning of feature sets that impact multiple platforms and product.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of database development experience in a professional environment and/or comparable experience. 
  • Experience with business report creation tools, e.g., Tableau, Power BI.
  • Experience with database design, development, and troubleshooting.
  • Understanding of distributed systems, algorithms, and data management.
  • Experience with ServiceNow data and data models.
  • Strong analytical skills with a proven ability to understand and document business data requirements in complete, accurate, extensible, and flexible logical data models, data modeling tools for complex technology platforms.
  • Able to facilitate discussions between Technology and business people, recognize issues of conflict and inconsistency between data requirements and pursue a resolution of these issues.
  • Expert in XML and schema development/reuse, RDBMS databases.
  • Leads modification and maintenance of data structures and associated components according to logical and physical design structures for large or complex systems.
  • Takes part in reviews of own work and leads reviews of colleagues' work. 
  • Able to participate in assigned team’s software delivery methodology (Agile, Scrum, Agile XP, Test-Driven Development, Waterfall, etc.)

Salary Range: $110,000.00 to $190,000.00 annually + bonus + benefits
