- 10+ years of professional or military experience

Key job responsibilities
As a Sr. Business Intelligence Engineer, you will be working with other BIEs, data engineers, development and programs teams to drive the next generation of analytical and business intelligence capabilities. You’ll coordinate with our partner teams to define and build the data architecture, data mart and reporting layers to facilitate deep business insight. Your expertise will enable us to standardize on taxonomy and simplify data availability for all users.This role would collaborate and foster a common understanding of the data with various partner teams across the company. Facilitate other data sources and lead the team on other initiatives for deeper insight.

This role will work across program managers, business intelligence engineers (BIEs), and data scientists to build and deliver data insights. This work spans all across Imaging, including 2D, 3D, and Video.  This role will collaborate and foster a common understanding of the data with the various partner teams across the company. Your deep business expertise will contribute to the teams business strategy. You build flexible solutions to anticipate and adapt to changes in your business and support stakeholders beyond the initial problem. You should be skilled at helping engineers navigate priorities and communicating clearly with customers. You should be knowledgeable in the architecture of reporting platforms including data pipelines, data lakes, ETL and data management tools, defining metrics and reporting, analysis, and visualization tools (Tableau/QuickSight).

You should be able to architect highly efficient data and reporting structures, making a trade-off between scalability, performance and user functionality needs. Above all you should be passionate about solving business challenges with data/analytics, drive adoption of analytics, and effect data-driven decision-making.

You are comfortable with big data structures, intimately familiar with SQL, database schemas and business processes (and how best to use them). You have a strong bias towards data-driven decision-making and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment. This role requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. You will collaborate a high-visibility program and partner with all levels of leadership.
