AMASS is looking for a Full Stack Engineer to join our Digital Team. In this role, you'll improve and maintain AMASS’s Shopify eCommerce storefront and build storefronts for new brands. You'll become an expert in conversion rate optimization, helping AMASS leverage data to accelerate revenue. You'll work directly with Digital Team to develop new features to increase user acquisition and conversion rate. *Must be based in Los Angeles or Greater Los Angeles area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Translate requirements and mockups into fully functioning website features using HTML/CSS/JS/LIQUID
- Implement new digital technologies or development techniques that help to meet business objectives
- Deliver the best technical implementations for acquisition, conversion, and retention
- Design, develop, modify, implement, and support software features anywhere in the stack, and determine root cause for the most complex software issues
- Lead code reviews to ensure readable, robust, testable and reusable code; mentor developers in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
ESSENTIAL QUALITIES & SKILLS
- 3+ years eCommerce development experience (Shopify, Magento, Wordpress, etc.)
- Extensive experience with building RESTful API's, node.js back-end and modern JavaScript frameworks (jQuery, Vue.js, React etc.)
- A solid portfolio of quality, hand-coded responsive web projects
- A passion for front-end architecture as well as driven attitude towards learning new web technologies
- A solid understanding of cross-browser/platform issues and code solutions
- Excellent time management, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills
- Ability to emulate existing HTML projects and create new ones that seamlessly integrate with existing code
- Creative and open to new ideas
- Knowledge of version control systems (SVN/GitHub etc.)
- Understanding of conversion rate optimization or data-driven product development (analytics, a/b testing, etc.)
- DevOps fundamentals recommended
