What you'll be doing

As a Senior Test Automation Engineer on our Platform team, you will

• Research and deploy new testing tools and frameworks, and help deploy them across the organization and integrate them into the CI/CD pipeline.

• Work with engineering leadership to identify testing gaps and formulate a plan for improving the organization’s testing posture.

• Work with engineering and product managers to build a backlog of engineering-quality work and set sprint priorities.

• Work with engineering and product managers to identify and write new and existing test cases that need to be exercised both manually and automatically.

• Embed in individual teams to add and improve testing tools, establish better testing patterns and best practices and increase test coverage (in partnership with engineers).

• As needed, work with engineers and PMs to run manual tests for feature launches and in response to production incidents.

• Ensure communication and adoption of best practices across the whole organization.

• Help direct the efforts of other test-automation engineers.

Who we're looking for

• 5+ years of experience as a test-automation engineer.

• Deep familiarity with the various testing patterns required for back-end services and web/mobile applications, including end-to-end.

• Experience with testing tools for React, Node, Python or similar frameworks.

• Ability to translate complex business requirements into test cases and guide development of tests at all layers of the testing pyramid.

• Ability to work and communicate with multiple stakeholders including PMs, engineers, engineering management.

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for highly targeted geographies: 156k-184k
