About the team
Alloy operates in a hybrid-work environment. We look to foster collaboration and community by having our local employees onsite twice a week, and remote employees onsite once a quarter.
The Ongoing team is a mix of Backend, Frontend, and Data Engineers and they focus on enabling decisioning post account opening. The team is responsible for creating and maintaining that decision capability in a scalable way that solves our customers needs for compliance, fraud and credit monitoring. The team is very product-driven and even works directly with clients to design solutions.
What you’ll be doing
You’ll be helping us build features to support new customer use cases around onboarding or ongoing monitoring end to end. As a Senior Engineer, you’ll also be shaping our API architecture as we continue to build out our monitoring offering. Our engineers work very closely with our product team as well as directly with clients to build out the best solutions. Additionally, you’ll have the opportunity to work collaboratively with engineers from other teams on bigger picture initiatives around scalability, system optimization and monitoring.
Who we’re looking for
We are looking for an engineer that is passionate about fullstack engineering. Someone that can really bridge the gap between our user interface and backend architecture as we continue to build highly available and scalable systems for our ongoing monitoring use case.
- Software engineering experience - APIs, UI (React)
- Strong experience with Databases and Data Architecture - PostgreSQL
- AWS Experience - EC2, Lambda, SQS, S3/Cloudfront, RDS/Aurora/DynamoDB/DMS,
- Experience with JS/TS/Python/Go
- Experience working with and on Design Systems
- Experience with highly available, highly scalable systems
- Experience with observability/monitoring/incident response - Datadog, Pagerduty, Runscope, etc
- Worked on high impact projects and lead or cognizant engineer

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for highly targeted geographies: $154,000-$181,000
