What you’ll be doing

The Connect team stands as a cornerstone within our organization, playing a pivotal role in seamlessly and efficiently guiding clients through the integration process. This involves facilitating the incorporation of their unique data for informed decision-making, thereby fostering product-led growth. Through immersive experiences meticulously crafted within our platform, the Connect team is dedicated to cultivating deeper engagement and ensuring an enriching user experience. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer on this team, you will:

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and product managers to translate our product and technical vision into a concrete roadmap, guiding the team towards success.
• Architect, develop, test, and deploy significant customer-facing features and projects using cutting-edge tools and technologies. Our tech stack includes TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/React), Python (Django), Node.js, PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, and AWS.
• Craft high-quality, thoroughly-tested code that meets the unique requirements of our clients, ensuring robustness and reliability.
• Provide technical mentorship and guidance to fellow engineers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within our rapidly expanding team.
• Embrace an iterative approach, swiftly iterating on features and solutions based on valuable feedback from both our product team and clients, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with user needs.

In summary, you will play a pivotal role in driving our product development efforts forward, leveraging your technical expertise and leadership skills to deliver impactful solutions and foster a collaborative and high-performing team environment.

Who we’re looking for

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a dynamic team of six engineers dedicated to delivering captivating and intuitive product demos while emphasizing the value of our Alloy platform in a seamless and accessible manner. We're seeking candidates who:

• Possess a minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in developing production-ready software, demonstrating a proven track record of delivering robust and scalable solutions.
• Exhibit expertise in steering both front-end and backend technical projects, adept at prioritizing tasks, defining requirements, and facilitating productive discussions within the team to drive informed technical decisions.
• Bring to the table a collaborative mindset, having effectively led engineering teams in collective pursuits, fostering an environment of cooperation and shared success.
• Demonstrate a remarkable ability to adapt swiftly to the evolving needs of our growing organization and dynamic product landscape, ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
• Have proficiency in client-side technologies such as TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6/React), HTML/CSS, as well as server-side proficiency in Python (Django), enabling seamless development across the entire stack.
• Hold practical experience in managing relational databases, with a strong command over PostgreSQL and its intricacies, ensuring efficient data management and retrieval.
• Live in the NYC metro area, or will relocate for this opportunity, and are excited to come into the office on Tuesdays & Thursdays.

Nice to have:

• Experience maintaining and working with design systems and UI component libraries.
• Experience working in Fintech or the financial services industry.

The following range is based on the scoped level within the organization and only for NYC: 154k-181k
