Alert Innovation, now powered by Walmart, is a fast-growing venture on a mission to reinvent retailing through robotics. We’ve partnered with Walmart to develop our Alphabot® technology, which is currently being deployed at stores throughout North America.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:
- Work with cross-functional teams to develop comprehensive test plans for new functionality in testing our robotics software
- Develop efficient test strategies for the different systems making up the product
- Develop and execute automated and manual smoke, regression, functional, and acceptance tests
- Report defects and investigate/debug failures
- Identify trends in failures and implement countermeasures to prevent recurrence of failures
- Participate in process improvements
- Occasional travel to the client site
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
- Experience with Python or any other programming language.
- Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interest in learning new systems and technologies.
- Ability to design and execute test strategies and plans based on requirements and functional designs.
- Experience working in a with source control software (GitHub) and CI/CD Environment like Jenkins.
- Degree in Robotics, Computer or Electrical Engineering.
- Experience working in robotics, automation is a plus but not required.
