Software Development Engineer in Test II

What you’ll work on:

• Design, develop, maintain, and troubleshoot automated suites of Python-based tests and testing libraries through continuous integration for value-added feedback.
• Work on UI Automation for angular based applications
• Reproduce, debug, isolate problems and verify code fixes.
• Develop automated performance test suites.
• Work with cross-functional and internal partner teams in an agile environment.
• Estimate own testing tasks and work productively with minimum supervision while showing an excellent team attitude.

What we’re looking for:

• 1-3 years experience as a Software Development Engineer or SDET.
• Must have a solid understanding and ability to develop code in Python and JavaScript.
• Experience in API testing and hands-on experience with Linux.
• Familiarity and experience writing UI automated tests using selenium or any other tool.
• Knowledge of Jenkins or other continuous integration systems and cloud technologies is a must.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills as well as the ability to analyze complex problems in large systems.
• Experience with Test processes, open-source test frameworks, test design strategies, writing test cases, and automating tests in Python with frameworks like JUnit/TestNG, Selenium, or Robot Framework is preferred.
• Must be a detail-oriented, analytical, and creative thinker with a passion for quality and test automation.
• Team-oriented with strong collaboration, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Experience resolving ambiguous situations and dealing with technical issues.
• Experience with tools and applications such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Git, and Artifactory/Maven.
• Must have previous experience with requirements, defect, functional, and performance management systems.
• Willingness to learn and grow as well as share knowledge.
• B.S./M.S in Computer Science, Engineering, or related area.
