The Staff Verification & Validation Engineer (V&V) will be responsible for a risk-based test strategy, test planning, authoring test procedures and test cases, and ensuring that product requirements and specifications are verified. They will be part of quality team and work closely with hardware/firmware, software, and operations teams to ensure the end-to-end testing of product releases and drive methodology, coverage, and cycle time.
A strong understanding of the design and development process and various testing methodologies and familiarity with quality regulations and standards are needed.

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON:
- Develop and implement a verification and validation plan for hardware in a software-driven electro-mechanical system
- Partner with Project Managers, System Engineers, and other engineering teams to plan and execute on project goals
- Help define product requirements to ensure the requirement set is complete and testable
- Execute the verification and validation of product design including requirement analysis, and testability assessment.
- Perform root cause analysis and provide solution to improve product
- Document and track defect through the defect life
- Automate test where applicable
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:
- 10+ years of system integration and test engineering experience in robotic environment for an electrical-mechanical device (Automation preferred)
- Experience in system testing, subsystem testing, Hardware/Firmware/Software testing
- Broad measurement instrument knowledge and experience with data analysis
- Ability to work independently and in multi-functional interdisciplinary team environment
- Experience in Agile environment
- Design and develop test automation frameworks/harness and libraries for testing
- Working knowledge of Linux Operating system, Python, Jira & Testrail
- BS degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Software, Robotics Engineering, or similar field.
