What you’ll work on:
- Inspire, mentor, and motivate a team to deliver high quality software on time that meets customer needs.
- Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with stakeholders.
- Prioritize project and day-to-day activities for your team.
- Provide technical guidance to your team.
- Collaborate with the electro-mechanical teams to build solutions.
- Work with Program Management to staff projects and determine resource capacity.
- Effectively communicate plans, status, and needs to leadership and engineers.
- Work closely with peers to share technical solutions and best practices.
- Support an environment of continuous improvement.
- Advocate for programming best practices.
- Mentor and grow engineers.
What we’re looking for:
- Staff and Principal-level engineers with significant low-level embedded programming experience
- Proficiency in C++ (11/14) with focus in object-oriented design
- Working knowledge of device integration and common communications busses
- Experience with QNX or Linux
- Board Support Package (BSP) experience
- Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment.
- B.S. in Computer Science or related industry.
