About your future Team

You will join the Data Strategy, Engineering and Innovation team based in Alcon Digital Hub with the main office in Warsaw, our newly launched powerhouse for designing and delivering innovative solutions across data & analytics, front-end engineering, and other technology areas. You will become a member of a highly successful Analytics team.

About your future Role

Our 12-months Analytics & BI Development Program will give you a unique chance to kickstart your career in the area of data and analytics. As a Junior BI Developer, you will design, develop and maintain business intelligence solutions that drive decision-making across the organization. This position offers a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative and innovative environment.

After successful completion of the development program, participants will receive a permanent job offer for the position of BI Developer or Analytics Engineer.

We expect the successful candidates to join us in June 2024.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective BI solutions.
• Develop and maintain advanced SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Design, develop, and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using data visualization tools such as Tableau, CRM Analytics (Einstein) and Amazon QuickSight.
• Leverage expertise in SAP data and Salesforce to ensure seamless integration and optimization of BI solutions.
• Perform in-depth data analysis to extract meaningful insights and present findings in a clear and actionable format.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their BI needs are met and providing ongoing support and guidance.
• Contribute to the development and improvement of BI best practices.
• Conduct training sessions to empower end-users in leveraging BI tools for their analytical needs.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business, or a related field or equivalent years of professional experience.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau, CRM Analytics (Einstein) Amazon QuickSight, or similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
• Experience in stakeholder management and the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal.
• Proficiency in working with SAP data is a plus.
• Familiarity with ETL processes and data warehousing concepts is a plus.
• Knowledge of programming languages (e.g., Python, R) is a plus.
